Saguaro

I had a dream that Esperanza Spalding came to Cine El Rey in McAllen, TX. She opened the
container to her upright bass and pulled out a saguaro that grew ten feet over her head and
bloomed white flowers. It was a spring concert. She plucked at the large cactus aggravating the
spines to the start of the song “Cuerpo y Alma,” Spalding played into the summer, the saguaro
handing out all concertgoers bahidaj, she ended the summer solstice concert early
